Complete Chiropractic And Active Sports Therapy Clinic Calgary NW OfficeManual Therapies including chiropractic care, myofascial release, massage therapy, stretching, and exercise are the primary and most common forms of treatments at the Centre. Our facility uses a non invasive and non drug-based technique referred to as “Integrative Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation”. Other forms of treatment at the Centre include: education, exercise, laser therapy, acupuncture, nutritional and weight loss counseling.

Chiropractic care is a system of diagnosis and treatments which, at its core, believes that disease originates from a lack of normal function in the spine and extremity joints. When normal joint function becomes compromised, surrounding soft tissues including muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia become affected, causing pain and discomfort. The body best responds to treatment if the patient takes responsibility to help himself with his recovery, by taking due diligence with exercise and diet to compliment his treatments.

There are a wide variety of conditions that Dr. Robert LaBelle, Dr. Lynda Chen and Dr. Edward Wong’s integrative biomechanical approach has been shown to help:

During the first visit at CCSR, Dr. LaBelle and Dr. Chen ask each patient for their detailed medical history before assessing and beginning treatment. This allows them to decide on a treatment method that would best suit your needs. If you are the type of person who is interested in learning why you have a particular ailment and how you can compliment our treatments by actively participating, CCSR and you will be a good fit.

A variety of methods are used to treat patients, however, the most frequent inquiry is about an actual adjustment. The adjustment is a fast, painless stretch of a joint that causes a release of gas that makes a popping sound. This “popping” sound is normal and can indicate a successful treatment.
